Everything in this store is built from a short list of materials we trust. Here's what they are and why we chose them.
Medical-grade silicone
Non-porous, body-safe, and compatible with water-based lubricants. Our silicone meets the standards expected of class II medical devices for surface contact: it is phthalate-free, latex-free, and does not harbor residue when cleaned with soap and water.
ABS plastic (buttons, caps, charging bases)
Used only for non-contact components such as buttons, charger housings and packaging inserts. ABS is chosen for its stiffness and chemical stability; it does not degrade with normal cleaning.
Lithium-ion batteries
Every powered device is rechargeable via USB. Batteries are protected by overcharge and over-discharge circuitry built into the device. Replacement is covered by warranty where a battery fails to hold a charge under normal use.
What we do not use
- Phthalates — endocrine disruptors associated with jelly rubber products.
- Jelly rubber / PVC — porous and prone to leaching plasticisers.
- TPE / TPR for contact surfaces — not non-porous.
- Latex — a common allergen we avoid entirely.
